Eat that frog with a Pomodoro is a famous technique of time management and getting things done in an organized way. In this line the word Frog means a work and Pomodoro is a timer so this line means to do the work by setting a timer. In this technique , the work is divided into a 25 minutes timer traditionally , separated by long and short breaks in between.

Eat that frog! if you have to eat 3 frogs ,eat the biggest and ugliest one first. (Brian Tracy)

Pomodoro🍅

Pomodoro is a machine like tomato which is used for managing time and maximizing productivity of the work.

WHY?🤔

What is the benefit of using Pomodoro technique? Why we use it ? How it helps to eliminate Procrastination? These were the questions which comes into our mind. In order to understand this technique , first understand the word Procrastination (it is the act of delaying work which needs urgent attention). So, the Pomodoro technique helps to eliminate Procrastination from our work but HOW? The timer reflects to a sense of urgency to any work. So a Pomodoro techniques uses a 25 minutes timer which creates an urgency while doing our work, it makes up the mind that we don't have enough time and we have to do the maximum work with in this limited time frame. In contrast if we do a work without Pomodoro technique , we make up our mind that we have enough time and making excuses to ourselves the we can do this work at any time. This habit decreases our productivity to get things done on time.

  6. At the fourth turn take a long break of 15–20 minutes.

My Personal Experience with a Pomodoro Technique🍅

So recently I used a Pomodoro technique to get my project work done in an organized manner. First I decide the part from a project work which is urgent, then I set a 25 minute timer in my mobile clock and start working because of the pressure of time I do the maximize work within a limited time, in the first 25 minutes I came across with lots of distractions like (internet connectivity, finding the required things needed for the project, mobile notifications, TV voice) etc. But when I take a 5 minutes break after completing my first 25 minutes, I became more focus towards my work and in the second 25 minutes I know how to deal with these distractions I changed my place of work in order to avoid voices and mute all notifications of my phone in order to avoid distractions. At the second timer I work more productively, then I again take a 5 minute break and again repeat the process. Due to this Pomodoro technique I do my big project work done in a limited time frame and in an organized manner.
